Apocalyptic for the client, but not for the provider, maybe. If the horse apocalypse doesn't impact their original requirements - which were just to give over the airport for the time being - then it may not entirely break their end of the deal.
They fulfilled their end of the bargain, as it stands, with only one thing remaining, the provided resources for the prize.
