[Kaworu is resting in the Meowsandry llounge on one of the couches, hands behind his head and one leg crossed over the other. Lady is curled up at his side. His wounds seem to be healing, now down to just a few bandages and he no longer is wearing fever patches.

If he were asleep, perhaps this could have been avoided, but instead a memory that is not yours, full of harsh and industrial spaces, begins to run through your mind.]

[ why is everything so insane today. okay. first of all he snaps a picture of this to send to anders, because it's sweet, but - well, then the wind blows, and he's tossed in to kaworu's memories.

there's - there's a lot happening here. the boy, who kaworu so desperately wanted to be friends with at the beginning. the discussion of people and humanity with the strange, shadowy figures. the rebirth of adam, or something like it. the heavy implication of destruction, and the look on kaworu's face at the end.

it's heartbreaking, really. he takes a beat from where he's standing. looks down at kaworu on the couch, at sweet lady, and exhales out, rubs a hand on over his own face. he's not sure if he's even awake or not to have experienced that - if kaworu glances up at him, he'll see his expression is heavy, before he reaches over to adjust one of his pillows from behind him. ]

Bloody hell. [ said very softly. it's hard to say i hope it got better when the poor kid's been through two rounds of murdergame and euchronia, but... well. it solidifies that feeling of one of my own, something that has been present for some time now, even further. ]

Kaworu is awake. Or at least now he is. He can't explain how he felt the memory slip from his mind into Strohl's but somehow had just innately known. Like he felt the barriers between their hearts and minds drop in the moment.]

anyway. there's a pause from where he's adjusting his pillow - he shakes his head. ]

's alright. Doesn't harm me any to know the struggles of a friend. [ that's a heavy word to use in the context, but... it's not an untrue one, so. ]
