[ hulkenberg is indeed here, instead of in the first aid centre, curled up in the corner of one of the private karaoke rooms with her eyes closed and head on strohl's jacket. her hair is long and pristine, thank fucking god, and she is clearly no longer a middle schooler anymore.
she's dressed with this energy, just probably without the suspenders and a Lot of bandages. but still wearing combat heels? it's fine. you'd be forgiven for thinking she's asleep but it's clear she's awake because she's petting strohl jr. ]
[ pats the couch she's on like come sit. strohl jr sleepily blinking his beady little eyes up at him and just blepping like yes, rupert. rupert good. ]
For now, I will be alright. Tell me how you're holding up? I noticed your arm, earlier, but now I can actually congratulate you.
[ checks on her and comes bearing gifts in the form of a variety of food in a takeout container - yes there are some different eggs in there, but it looks like he also trekked around to get some Variety going in there. keep up your strength, eat a little.
[ artemy!!! she laughs softly, so as not to rattle herself, but selects a scotch egg from the top of the bunch to nibble off of. there's not much of her usual appetite, but it's more than a normal person would have probably. ]
That the doctor knows of the world's oldest medicine is no surprise. [ fud ]
[ momfs the top of the egge off in a bigger nibble. he can have a job for the night if it'll make him feel better - she knows it helps her, having a purpose close to her norm. ]
The machine will be doing quite a lot of work for many of us today, so hopefully everyone has a bit of food with them tonight.
I was. Since my return until we relocated not long before the doors would lock, I stayed in the centre. But... after last week staying there, it felt perhaps better to make sure we were with others.
That's good. And yeah, even if it doesn't actually protect you, I think it's helpful to make sure there are people who know where you started out in case something happens.
Too many people have left us without us knowing where they began the night... [ frowning softly ] Odd as this choice might seem, I don't mind if anyone wants to partake in the karaoke, if others might be holding off on my account - 'tis good to have the company and the energy.

[ picks at it himself but will linger over here where it's quiet. but also because he's just doing his job (you don't have a job) his job. ]
At least something for the body to burn while it puts itself back together.

And I quite like listening to music.

...Well, okay, then. I guess it's not like we could keep you up too late even if we wanted to.

You could have stayed in the first aid room.

I could have, but... I wanted to ensure 'twas not just Strohl and I in the centre, and the music is enjoyable after such a trip.
I've slept on worse when injured, at least.

It's good you're not alone, at least, though things are more crowded than expected here.
