A wise choice. I will be doing little else but taking my meals and spending time with you and few others, truthfully. As few interactions with this place, the better, at this point. Two weeks of all of this already...

[ she moves easily when he sits, going to drop down and lean against his back so that they've got eyes in all directions. she's still eating, but she does finish that while she listens to him talk, one ear giving a twitch. ]
... 'tis forboding indeed. All is whole? Alarms? [ frowning, and it's in her voice. ] Kiruko introduced me to devices called cameras, and asked in my help putting them on the robots yesterday - it will allow us to see the recorded images of where they go, when they take our dead. Much as I would prefer to not lose more in this supposed game that is being played, we will at least be prepared to learn more.
[ and we got that answer plus three fucking bodies on monday so handwaves her circling back to this after she and kiruko talk about it.
should a body appear, they can check out its path! except it’s sort of weird, because you can see the robot going toward the edge of the city and seemingly just blipping out of existence? like it’s disappeared right through some sort of invisible barrier and it glitches out of sight. the camera feed appears underwater then…but you no longer see the body it was holding, and then everything goes black. when the feed reappears, the robot is back in the city almost as if nothing happened.
what the fuck is up with that? ]

[ the starter is just that hulkenberg is going to drop down to sit next to him, wherever he is, and offer him a bottled ale as she does. as if they didn't drink enough last night - and she's not even much of a drinker in the first place.
but she's wide awake, now that she's no longer a swan, and just seems... calm, if alert. like she's drinking, yes, but a part of her is keeping watch of the area, prepared to go on the defensive if necessary even now that they've all died. ]
The end period of the vacation is, supposedly, nearly upon us.

[ she is looking exhausted and fed up in spades, just kind of. staring off into the middle distance. ]
I suppose we could not ask for a single moment of sense or normalcy, could we. [ sighing, she puts one hand on her opposite shoulder and rolls her arm a bit, just - loosening up after the fighting and activities they did. ]

... 'tis a complicated affair, when you come to the crux of it.
[ she props her elbows on the table, holding her own bottle loosely with the fingertips of both hands at the neck. they're both thinking of glodell, who is very much dead by perhaps mere hours to them. the thoughts of others filter through - those she won't be sorry to see go, those that she'll miss, but most of all... those that might need somewhere else to go.
at least it's a weak ale, compared to what they're used to. and a drinik is a drink when you're a ye olde.
hulkenberg takes a small sip, just as something to do, too. ]
I truly doubt that Glodell would believe us, were we to tell him that the fool's lost his life. On one part, I know none of us were sorry to hear it... but on another, 'tis the principle of the thing, is it not?

[ while she might not like it...
hulkenberg, as the shield to his strategist, knows when someone or something is a threat, especially an overt one. they don't know the full details of what happened with glodell, only that he was a threat to will. and while they have had a partial truce in place, to keep the senseless death to a minimum, it isn't foolproof.
especially not when they get back home. ]
No. And loathe as I am to sentence a man to death, especially one that has "cheated" it, here, 'tis safer for Will - for all of us - if we do not alter fate in this case.

We will have to decide what to tell the others, when it comes to all of this. If things remain the same, there would be very little to share much at all with them, but...
[ but if they have a plus one, they will have to explain some things, considering vi looks like an elda. ]

They do not, no. Rule number two: we do not tell them anything, actually, about the trip that we took.
[ she shakes her head, because clearly it's not just the undignified strohl death that they don't need to know about. it's the whole insanity of the sims world and blumbob will in the first place. they can know about the vacation resort, but not that, and not the deaths.
but, oh, this is a different shame right now. she raises an eyebrow at him. ]

[ a beat. ]
With the way you were speaking, looking away like that, I had assumed something worse than ensuring that a friend would be safe and taken care of. [ with a shift, she knocks their shoulders briefly, before looking ahead again. ] We will have to figure out the best means of letting her blend in, considering 'tis bad enough that so many target and persecute Will. But I doubt that any we return to would say "no" to her joining us.
